Mum ok baby ok handpicks products that are organic and grounded in nature. We strongly value sourcing high quality products that support sustaining our beautiful environment. We all are aware how much landfill is accumulated if recycling is not done consciously. Images have the power to awaken us more and I recently had this pausing moment when I came across images by Antoine Repessé covered by article by Andrius
The story of photographer Antoine Repessé who accumulated things from plastic bottles to milk containers and the outcome is eye opening. Antonie Repesse stopped throwing away his recyclable trash & four years later he started turning that point into a powerful photo series ‘#365 Unpacked’. During the 4 year period, Antoine accumulated over 70 cubic metres of trash: 1,600 milk bottles, 4,800 toilet rolls, and 800 kg of newspapers, all of which he then separated for an even stronger visual impact.
It’s confronting to see how one person could alone accumulate that much of waste within the 4 year period. On a positive note, it also brings into forefront the possibility of what each one of us could do in giving our bubs a cleaner greener future.
