Hello Fabulous Mums! This month we are excited in featuring guest blog interview with Angela Fogarty, mother of two children and owner of PREGFIT. Tell us about pregfit and it’s vision?
PregFit’s vision is to empower mums to be and new mums to lead a healthy lifestyle through our range of products and our blog and emails we sent out. I didn’t want to create another online shop. I wanted to create an experience and support space for new mums and mums to be.

What led you to staring pregfit?
Having exercised all my life and being passionate of healthy living I was determined to keep fit and healthy during my pregnancy. But wasn’t able to find clothes that would support my growing belly and that was high performance that would look good as well. The search started and I decided to take over the business of bringing the best brands of maternity fitness wear to Australia’s mums to be!

How would mums benefit from visiting your website?

I truly believe in inspiring and creating a supportive environment for women in their motherhood journey, so in everything we do from our blog, our newsletter and the products we sell reflect that.

On a personal level, how do you overcome challenges as a mum?

Being a mum is one of the things I’m really honoured and grateful for, but in saying that it has been the most challenging thing I have done in my life! Knowing and acknowledging that motherhood in general is not linear, that life is always up and down is what helps me overcome any challenge as a mum.

What keeps you going when the going gets tough?

The one thing that keeps me going is knowing that I am in control of my mind and I’m constantly checking in with my inner guidance and following my intuition, which allows me to overcome all tough situations.

One thing you would like to share with a mum going through a similar life situation?

We live in a society that is packed with noise and as mums we tend to second guess our decisions and read 100s of books and there’s always guilt hanging on our shoulders. We need to embrace our intuition and rely on it. Looking for answers inside not outside, no one knows our babies more than we do, we just need to tap into our intuitive side and reconnect with it.

What do you do in your everyday life to ensure you are OK?

I have daily rituals that help me ensure I’m Ok. I always apply the oxygen mask principle and look after myself first so I don’t become depleted. I like to start my day with a gratitude mindset and writing my intentions for the day it helps me start with a positive note.

In what way does our message ‘Mum Ok Baby Ok’ resonate with you?

I absolutely love how “Mum Ok Baby Ok” empowers new mums in looking after themselves and helping them to make healthier choices when looking after their little ones.
